What we do
Full-service heat network specialist
Heatiliti provides a turnkey solution for heat networks, taking them from current inefficient state through to a highly efficient and reliable system with a single supplier to hold responsible for regulatory compliance, efficiency and operational management and billing and revenue protection.
We work with clients at any stage of the project lifecycle, providing a flexible turnkey approach to project requirements. From new build development at concept stage right through to 50-year old heat networks, we are a full-service heat network specialist.
Our experience enables a seamless transition through every project phase: from concept and detailed design to legal considerations, preconstruction, delivery, and operation and maintenance. We can also act as the ESCo, taking charge of the project throughout the contract term when this best serves our clients.
Heatiliti services
Consultancy & feasibility studies
Our in-house engineers provide feasibility studies, heat loss assessments, and technical consultancy to align your site with funding, planning, or regulatory needs. We specialise in unlocking opportunities for both communal and district heating schemes, identifying viable low-carbon pathways that deliver long-term savings and reduce complexity for building owners.
MEP design & engineering
Heatiliti’s team brings decades of experience in mechanical, electrical and public health engineering through all RIBA project stages - from concept to detailed design, tendering and commissioning. Advanced BMS controls are specified and integrated using non-proprietary, interoperable platforms, giving you flexibility, security and future-proof solutions. All works are managed in strict adherence to Building Regulations and the incoming Ofgem Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme.
Project delivery
We deploy experienced in-house managers alongside specialist subcontractors to deliver mechanical and electrical installation, BMS controls, and commissioning services on time and on budget. Our pre-construction process establishes build programmes aligned with your funding and operational needs, while transparent communication and robust quality control ensure every milestone is met and risks are minimised.
Operation, maintenance & monitoring
Once live, Heatiliti provides ongoing system monitoring, remote support, maintenance contracts, and data-driven energy management to optimise performance and maintain compliance. Clients benefit from reliable, transparent billing, full regulatory reporting, and continuous efficiency improvements - protecting asset value and user satisfaction.
Metering & billing
Heatiliti provides comprehensive metering and billing solutions for communal and district heating schemes, ensuring fair, transparent, and compliant energy charges. Our services include installation and integration of metering devices, routine data collection, accurate consumption-based billing, and resident support. By aligning with UK Heat Network Regulations, we guarantee clear, reliable invoicing and empower residents and managers with usage insights and operational transparency. Clients benefit from improved cost recovery, simpler tariff management, and full compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, all supported by expert customer service and ongoing technical maintenance.
ESCo (Energy Services Company)
Heatiliti acts as a turnkey partner, taking on full responsibility for designing, funding, installing, operating, and maintaining low-carbon heat systems under long-term heat purchase agreements. Facility owners and managers gain an accountable single supplier, removing operational headaches and regulatory risk. Our ESCo contracts guarantee clarity on pricing, technical performance, and customer service, supporting seamless transitions from legacy systems to modern energy-efficient heating.
EPC (Energy Performance Contracts)
Heatiliti’s Energy Performance Contracts guarantee financial, carbon, and operational savings through tailored energy-saving measures. Under an EPC, our team identifies, designs, and implements strategies aligned with your organisation’s commercial and sustainability goals - transferring risk away from the client and ensuring budget stability over contract periods that typically range from 5 to 30 years. Clients benefit from detailed technical assessments, measurable results and flexible short or long-term agreements that deliver proven energy savings while improving building performance and comfort.
Each service is shaped to meet the unique needs of heat network operators, housing associations, and facility managers across residential, public, and commercial sectors - unlocking the full value of your energy infrastructure with a single, accountable partner for the journey to net zero.
