Net zero commitment

Heatiliti exists to decarbonise heat networks. That's not a side commitment layered on top of the business, it is the business. Every project we deliver is, at its core, an act of emissions reduction, so sustainability isn't something we bolt on afterwards.

The way we work reflects that. We're remote-first, with no fixed office estate - our team mainly works from home, so there's no daily commute to offset. Around 90% of our business travel is by train rather than car or air, and video conferencing is our default; we travel only when it's genuinely necessary. We run no diesel plant or heavy vehicles, and our documents and deliverables are digital only, with no print workflows.

We're a young company, and we're building our carbon reporting as we grow, we are not claiming it's finished. Our first Annual Carbon Report is due Q4 2026, giving us a proper baseline. We're committed to net zero across all scopes by 2050, with a 50% cut in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, and we're targeting ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification by 2028 - a start built on how we already operate, not a promise made from scratch.
